From Developers for Developers: Czech Startup Zerops Raises $500k

Zerops, a startup born from the web hosting company VSHosting, recently secured nearly $500K in a pre-seed funding round supported by Presto Ventures and Gi21 Capital. Zerops aims to streamline app development by handling infrastructure management, allowing developers to focus on coding.

What Zerops Does

The platform facilitates the development, deployment, and operation of applications, regardless of their size or complexity. By simplifying infrastructure management, Zerops enhances the productivity and efficiency of programmers.

Founders' Backgrounds

Zerops was co-founded by Aleš Rechtorík, a developer and UX designer with over 15 years of experience, and Jan Saidl, a former lead developer at VSHosting with 25 years in system architecture. After three years of development, Zerops reports thousands of successful deployments and 14 high-availability managed services.

Investment Plans

The funding will expand integrations with popular frameworks, enhance documentation, improve onboarding, and support global expansion. Within two years, Zerops aims to attract thousands of active users.
