Keboola raises $32M Series A led by Viking Global; Gi21 and Tomáš Čupr follow on
Keboola, the data platform that connects and governs all of a company’s data in one place, has closed a $32 million Series A led by US investor Viking Global Investors. It was the largest Series A in Central and Eastern Europe in 2023.
The round includes Tomáš Čupr, founder of Rohlik Group, who invests through TCF Capital. Rohlik runs all of its data on Keboola, and Čupr backed the company in both its seed round and this Series A. All earlier investors joined as well: Presto Ventures, Reflex Capital, Behind Inventions, Gi21 Capital with Damir Špoljarič, Eduard Kučera and others.
Gi21 first invested in Keboola’s $5 million seed round in 2022, led by Presto Ventures. Keboola reports annual revenue of around $12 million, nearly double the previous year, with customers including Deloitte, Erste Group, BNP Paribas and Rohlik Group. The new capital funds growth in Europe and the UK and a planned expansion into the United States.
“Keboola is the kind of company we like to back: technical founders, a product that large enterprises trust with their data, and revenue to prove it. We are glad to keep supporting the team into the US,” said Damir Špoljarič, Founder and Managing Partner of Gi21 Capital.
