London / Prague
Full-time
Fund & Investor Relations

About Us
At Gi21 – Great Ideas for 21st Century, we move great ideas forward.
Gi21 Capital is a multi-stage investment group combining entrepreneurial agility with institutional-grade scale. Our team brings 21 years of datacenter experience across Europe, covering the full lifecycle: design, construction and 24/7 operations, as well as managed and cloud services. We have developed, built and operated greenfield datacenters with a 100% uptime record over 12 years of live operation, and completed 5+ successful exits, including to major private equity investors.
We have now launched Gi21 Datacenter Infrastructure SCA SICAV-RAIF, a Luxembourg reserved alternative investment fund managed by an authorised AIFM. The fund will fully own and operate a platform of eight AI-ready datacenters across Europe, with Gi21 as the operator responsible for design, construction and operations.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Investor Relations to lead the fundraising and own the LP relationships of our datacenter fund.
Reporting directly to our Founder & CEO, you will work closely with the CFO and legal team, as well as with the fund's AIFM, fund administrator, and legal and tax counsel. This is a unique opportunity to build the investor relations function and team from day one and help capitalize one of Europe's most ambitious AI infrastructure platforms.
What You Will Do
- Fundraising Leadership
Define and lead the capital raising strategy end to end: LP mapping and prioritization, outreach, meetings and roadshows, through to commitments and closings. - LP Relationship Management
Build and maintain trusted relationships with pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, family offices, fund-of-funds and infrastructure investors. Act as their senior point of contact. - Due Diligence Coordination
Manage investor due diligence, including DDQs, operational and ESG/SFDR questionnaires, data room management and reference processes. - Investor Materials
Own the fund presentation, track record materials and investor communications, in close coordination with legal and the AIFM on all investor-facing documentation. - Pipeline & CRM
Run the investor CRM and provide clear, structured pipeline reporting to management. - Investor Reporting
Set up and deliver ILPA-aligned quarterly reporting, capital call and distribution notices with the fund administrator, and prepare LPAC and annual investor meetings. - Team Building
Build and lead the investor relations team as the fund grows. - Market Intelligence
Track LP appetite, competing fund launches and market terms, and translate them into actionable input for fund strategy and positioning.
What We Expect From You
- 10+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising or capital formation at a private equity, infrastructure or real assets fund manager, or at a placement agent.
- A proven track record of raising capital from institutional LPs, including successful fund closings.
- An established network among European institutional investors. Relationships in the Middle East, Asia or North America are a significant advantage.
- Solid understanding of fund structures (Luxembourg SCA / RAIF / SCSp, AIFMD), LPA terms, fee and waterfall mechanics, and ILPA principles.
- Fluency in infrastructure investment metrics (IRR, MOIC, DPI, yield) and familiarity with ESG/SFDR requirements.
- Interest in digital infrastructure and the AI compute market. Prior exposure to datacenters is a strong plus.
- Excellent presentation and writing skills, and the gravitas to engage senior investment committees.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build processes and a team from scratch.
- Fluent English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to build the IR function from day one and shape one of Europe's most ambitious AI datacenter platforms.
- Direct collaboration with the Founder & CEO, the senior management team and top-tier advisors.
- Exposure to leading global institutional investors.
- A competitive compensation package with a performance-linked component.
- A high degree of autonomy and real influence on fund strategy.
- A flexible, dynamic work environment in modern offices in London or Prague.
